Welcome to 5th grade! My name is Mr. Austin and I will be your child’s teacher this year!
I am looking forward to working with you and your child this year! I believe that, with your help, we can accomplish many great things this school year. I feel that you are a very important part of your child’s life and education. Together we can make this year extremely successful!
In my classroom, we have a team/family atmosphere. We are all on the same team and when in the classroom, part of the same family. Families stick up for each other and support each other. That’s the type of atmosphere I want for my classroom. A room in which all of the students feel welcomed and know they are cared about.
